Experience a legendary night of music under the stars at the Moody Gardens Amphitheater. Moody Gardens and Island Star Performances are proud to present The Beach Boys live in concert Saturday November 1, 2008.
Led by legendary front man Mike Love, The Beach Boys haven’t taken a summer off in 40 years, playing more shows than any other major rock act. The boys of summer continue to rock the world with performances that showcase the same bold imagination and style that marked their explosive debut. Through their music, The Beach Boys truly have found the key to unfading youth, which they share with concert goers across the country.
Opening for the Beach Boys are special guests and local favorites The Coastliners. Hailing from Baytown and known for their tight five part harmonies, The Coastliners have thrilled audiences from coast to coast, sharing the stage with musical legends such as Roy Orbison, The Righteous Brothers, Neil Diamond and The Byrds, just to name a few.
Gates to the event will open at 5:00 p.m. with The Beach Boys taking the stage at 9 p.m.
Tickets will be available beginning September 11. Tickets are $20 Festival Lawn and $45 Premium Seating. Tickets will be available via the Concerts on the Gulf Box Office located in the lobby of the Moody Gardens Hotel. The box office will be open Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 6:00pm.
